Building a legacy of excellence, innovation, and impact
To be a global leader in innovation-centered education that empowers students to create solutions for the world's most pressing challenges through technology, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
To provide transformative education that integrates cutting-edge technology, industry partnerships, and innovative teaching methods to prepare leaders who drive positive change in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Founded in 2025, Warsaw Innovation University (WIU) is Poland's newest premier institution dedicated to addressing the challenges of our rapidly changing world through innovation, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The concept for WIU emerged in 2022 when a group of visionary educators, industry leaders, and government officials recognized the need for a new kind of university that could bridge the gap between traditional education and the rapidly evolving demands of the global innovation economy.
After two years of extensive planning, curriculum development, and recruitment of world-class faculty, Warsaw was selected as the ideal location for this groundbreaking institution due to its growing reputation as a European technology hub and its strategic position at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe.
Although we are a new institution, our founding team brings decades of experience from leading universities worldwide, united by a shared vision to create an educational experience that breaks traditional boundaries and prepares students for the future. Our academic model was developed through consultation with industry partners, technology innovators, and educational experts to ensure relevance, quality, and impact.
As we prepare to welcome our inaugural class in Summer 2025, we are committed to establishing WIU as a beacon of innovation in higher education and a catalyst for technological advancement and social progress in Poland and beyond.
We embrace new ideas, approaches, and technologies to advance learning and discovery. We foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement that drives progress in education and research.
We uphold the highest standards in education, research, and institutional practices. We are committed to academic rigor while embracing innovative approaches that enhance learning outcomes and research impact.
We foster a diverse and supportive community where everyone can thrive and contribute. We believe that innovation flourishes in environments where multiple perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences converge.
We believe in the power of partnership and interdisciplinary approaches to solve complex problems. We actively build bridges between academic disciplines, industries, and cultures to create holistic solutions.
We are committed to environmental stewardship and creating sustainable solutions for the future. We incorporate principles of sustainability into our campus operations, research focus, and educational programs.
We act with honesty, transparency, and ethical responsibility in all that we do. We hold ourselves accountable and strive to make decisions that reflect our commitment to ethical leadership and social responsibility.
Our five-year strategic plan is built around the following key objectives that guide our institutional development and priorities.
Develop and implement innovative curricula, teaching methods, and learning environments that prepare students for rapidly evolving technological fields and foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Establish world-class research centers that address global challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration, breakthrough technologies, and partnerships with industry and government organizations.
Build international partnerships and networks that facilitate knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and student mobility, positioning WIU as a global hub for innovation and technological advancement.
Foster deep connections with industry through collaborative research, internship programs, industry-sponsored projects, and participation of industry experts in curriculum development and teaching.
Contribute to the economic and social development of Warsaw and Poland through technology transfer, entrepreneurship support, community engagement initiatives, and workforce development programs.
